This listing is for one 18” x 28” cut of naturally dyed 14 ct. AIDA in 100% washed cotton, dyed by hand in the SMT Dye Studio (Maryland, USA) using 100% natural plant, insect and mineral dyes.
Stuart Moores Textiles' plant dyed flosses and fabrics are hand dyed in the SMT dye studios using centuries old dyeing techniques. Each color is created from a combination of natural plant, insect, and mineral dyes that have stood the test of time and are selected for their proven lightfast and wash fast qualities. Creating these colors from start to finish is a weeks long process. Each color is one of a kind and very special indeed.
Due to the nature of the dye process, there may be areas of uneven dye.
Please note that colors may vary slightly from dye lot to dye lot so make sure to order enough for your projects at once.
